1.   Preventative Services

The best way to minimize tooth and mouth problems is through prevention! Having regular cleanings and x-rays can help us to catch potential problems early. This allows us to provide you with treatment before you have to experience discomfort. With proper preventative care, you can probably keep your teeth healthy throughout your lifetime. What's more, dental health has been linked to overall health in more than one study. There are lots of reasons to keep your mouth healthy, so please contact us today to ask about our preventative services.

2.   Sealants, Flouride

Protecting your teeth should begin at a young age and continue throughout your lifetime. Sealants and fluoride help guard your teeth against plaque (the bacteria containing film that builds up on teeth and causes cavities). Sealants are most often used on the back teeth of children. They help protect the teeth's enamel from plaque and are especially beneficial for younger children whose brushing and flossing may not be adequate. Fluoride is also given to children but is also helpful for adults. Although too much fluoride can cause fluorosis (white spots on the teeth), the right amount helps strengthen teeth and helps prevent cavities. Please contact us to learn more about sealants and fluoride.

3.   Tooth Colored Restoration

Tooth colored restorations make fixing damaged teeth easy and aesthetically pleasing. When you have a tooth that is damaged or decayed, fixing the problem can save you a significant amount of discomfort. Unfortunately, in the past that meant having metal fillings or crowns that were easily identified as such. Today, tooth colored restorations allow us to repair your damaged or decayed teeth with materials that match your natural tooth color. The new restorations are stronger and longer lasting, and no one will need to know that you have had dental work done!

4.   Bonding

Bonding can provide a quick aesthetic solution to many smile imperfections. Cosmetic bonding uses a tooth colored resin to fill in gap, chips, cracks, and other problems with your teeth. Unlike veneers and crowns, bonding does not require us to remove any of your original tooth. Advances in bonding materials have made it easy to match the resin to the natural color of your tooth, leaving you with a beautiful, natural smile.

5.   Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers can make almost any smile straight, white, and beautiful. Veneers are laid on top of your natural teeth, covering up and correcting a wide variety of problems. Veneers can be used to straighten crooked teeth or to even up teeth of different lengths. They can hide chips, cracks, and discoloration. Veneers can also be used to fill in gaps and to make teeth either larger or smaller in size. Whatever aesthetic adjustment you would like to make, porcelain veneers can help you achieve a beautiful smile. Please contact us to learn more about veneers!

6.   Teeth Whitening/Bleaching "Bright for Life"

A dazzling white smile can be yours with tooth whitening! Most people would love to have whiter teeth. Coffee, tea, cola, and other products can stain teeth over the years. Many people also have teeth that are naturally more yellow or gray than white. Fortunately, bleaching (or tooth whitening) can help! Both in-office and take-home whitening options are available, depending on what best suits your needs and schedule. In either case, you can expect a brighter, whiter, and more beautiful smile in a short amount of time. Please contact us to learn more about whitening!

7.   Crown & Bridges

Missing and damaged teeth sometimes require crowns or bridges in order to be restored. Our practice offers natural-looking porcelain crows and bridges, so your dental work can be done effectively and subtly. Crowns fit over broken, decayed, or damaged teeth like a jacket. They offer renewed strength, improved appearance, and greater chewing power. A bridge is used to replace a missing tooth. Bridges consist of a replacement crown and two additional crowns that fit over the teeth adjacent to the gap left by your missing tooth. We offer the finest techniques and materials for crown and bridge work, making it easy for you to turn a damaged mouth into a beautiful, strong smile!

8.   Root Canals

Root canal treatment is necessary when the pulp in the center of the tooth becomes inflamed or infected. The pulp is made up of blood vessels and nerve tissue that make teeth grow. Pulp can be safely removed from a tooth's root canals once teeth are finished developing. Pulp can become inflamed due to injury but is most often irritated when a cavity is left untreated. In a root canal procedure, the tooth's damaged pulp is removed and the tooth root canals are cleaned. Root canal treatment can save an infected tooth from being lost. Please contact us to learn more about root canals.

9.   Dentures & Partials

Missing teeth can cause problems with chewing, speaking, and even self-confidence. If you have lost some of all of your teeth, dentures can help to replace them. You will look better, speak better, and eat more easily. Dentures and partials are custom-fit to your mouth. If you need a full set of replacement teeth, complete dentures will be used. If you have some teeth left, partials can be secured to them. In some cases, you may want to consider anchoring your dentures in place with dental implants. To learn more about dentures, partials, and your options for replacing missing teeth, please contact us today!

10.   Periodontal

Gum disease is a constant threat, but proper care can help prevent it. Gum disease, also called periodontal disease, begins as gingivitis. The disease is caused by plaque build-up, which eventually hardens into tartar. Plaque and tartar build-up can cause the gums to recede, allowing bacteria to damage the tooth root. Untreated gum disease can lead to tooth loss. Fortunately, we offer periodontal care and treatment. By cleaning your teeth and gums and performing procedures such as scaling or root planting if necessary, we can help stop gum disease. In its early stages, the symptoms of gum disease may not be easy to detect so it is important that you see us regularly. Please contact us today to schedule an appointment!

We make every effort to ensure that your visit is pleasant and successful. Please contact us to learn more about oral surgery!

12.   Implant Dentistry

If you are missing teeth, dental implants can improve your looks and quality of life. Dental implants replace missing teeth permanently and are more secure than dentures. Consisting of an artificial root that is implanted into your jawbone and a replacement tooth, implants provide chewing strength and improved appearance. Replacing missing teeth with implants can make speaking easier and can prevent other teeth from moving out of alignment. Implants are secure and don't cause the hassles associated with taking removable dentures in and out. What's more, implants look and feel more like your natural teeth. With proper care, dental implants can be a permanent solution to the problem of missing teeth.
